The photographic series Veste Branco portrays some public manifestations of terreiro peoples, such as walks, festivities and celebrations that bring together followers of the various Brazilian Afro-indigenous religions, where they reaffirm their belonging to these public spaces, as an act of resistance and combat against religious intolerance. The project began in the city of Lençóis, Chapada Diamantina in Bahia, with the Washing of the Staircase of the Church of Nosso Senhor do Passos, and the Procession of Nosso Senhor dos Passos in 2013; In Pernambuco, the images were taken during the events: Águas de Oxalá in Olinda in 2015 and 2019, Caminhadas de Terreiro do Recife in 2015 and 2017, Kipupa Malunguinho in 2016, 2017 and 2018; Still in 2017, images were captured during the 1st Walk to Iemanjá in Barcelona, ​​Spain; And in 2019 the Festa de Iemanjá in Salvador, Bahia.


This research resulted in the conclusion article of the Specialization in Photography and Image by SORECH/PE at the end of 2018 - "WHITE CLOTHES: ICONOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF PHOTOGRAPHS IN PUBLIC ACTS OF FAITH OF AFROINDIGENOUS MATRIZES IN PERNAMBUCO" The complete project has not yet been published in site.
